Dry brushing brush

The dry brushing brush is one of the simplest ways to improve skin condition. It does not require a salon visit or additional products. A few minutes a day and the right tool are enough for you to enjoy a beautiful body and better well-being.

The Primabiotic dry brush is made from beech wood and natural agave fiber. Tampico is a plant fiber obtained from a cactus, which has the right stiffness to effectively stimulate the skin, exfoliate dead skin and add energy for an active day.

A Polish product means a short supply chain and full quality control. You can feel the difference between our dry brushing brush and cheap substitutes already at the first touch - it is a conscious choice for people who value quality.

Body brush - ideal for dry massage

The Primabiotic body brush has an oval shape that naturally fits in the hand. The thick cotton strap prevents the item from slipping and allows you to freely control the pressure on the legs or abdomen. This is important because dry massage should be noticeable, but at the same time pleasant for your senses.

Natural agave bristles work more effectively than soft synthetic fibers. Your skin after brushing becomes smooth and more willing to absorb your favorite lotions and oils.

With every dry massage brush you receive a handmade premium cotton bag with an embroidered Primabiotic logo. It protects the bristles from dust and impurities.

Dry body brushing - how to do it?

Perform dry massage before a bath or shower, on dry skin. Below you will find a scheme that works from the first time and quickly becomes a habit.

Step 1. Start from the feet and move upwards toward the heart. This supports proper circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Step 2. Brush the legs with sweeping movements from the feet to the knees and from the knees to the groin.

Step 3. On the abdomen and buttocks perform circular movements clockwise.

Step 4. Massage the arms from the fingers toward the shoulders and finish the movement under the armpit.

Tips for dry brushing:

  • Adjust pressure to the body part being massaged. The skin may be slightly red after the massage. This is a normal reaction that disappears after a few minutes.
  • After the massage, take a shower, dry the skin and apply a lotion or oil. The skin after brushing will absorb it much better than usual.

Start your new ritual two or three times a week, and spend 5 to 15 minutes per massage. Later you can brush the body daily, but not more than once a day.

Avoid irritated skin, with visible inflammatory conditions, wounds, fresh scars, varicose veins and skin changes. People with psoriasis, atopic dermatitis or acne should refrain from brushing. In case of doubts it is always best to consult a doctor.

Benefits of dry body brushing

Regular use of the body dry brush is a simple ritual that gives clear results. The first impression, meaning smoother, softer skin, appears already after the first use. Further effects build with each subsequent dry brushing ritual.

Dry Body Brush - frequently asked questions

How often should you dry brush your body?

How often you should dry brush the body depends on your skin’s tolerance. At the beginning of your massage journey it is enough to do it 2–3 times a week to accustom the body to the tougher agave fiber. Eventually, brushing can be performed even daily. Consistency is key - only regular massage brings lasting results.

What benefits does dry body brushing give?

Dry body brushing gives the effect of exceptionally smooth and firm skin thanks to intensive exfoliation of dead skin. The key benefits of dry body brushing are also stimulation of circulation, evening out skin tone and effective support of the body in the process of removing toxins through lymph stimulation.

Does dry brushing help in the fight against cellulite?

Dry brushing helps in the fight against cellulite because intensive massage with cactus fiber breaks up fluid stagnation and improves tissue blood circulation. A body brush used regularly makes the skin denser and more firm, which visually smooths irregularities and reduces the visibility of orange peel skin.

Does dry brushing help with stretch marks?

Dry brushing helps to make the skin more elastic and improve the appearance of fresh stretch marks by stimulating tissue regeneration. Although dry brushing will not completely remove old changes, regular massage strengthens the skin structure, making it more resistant to the formation of new stretch marks.

Dry body brushing - before or after bathing?

Dry body brushing is always performed before bathing. Dry massage exfoliates dead skin, which is then rinsed off in the shower, leaving the skin perfectly prepared for applying lotion or oil.

How to care for a body massage brush?

You care for a body massage brush by regularly cleaning the bristles and protecting the wood it is made of. Your body massage brush should be dried with the bristles facing down, and the beech wooden handle should not have prolonged contact with water to avoid cracking.

Which dry massage brush should be chosen?

For dry massage it is worth choosing a brush made of natural plant fiber, such as the Primabiotic body brushing brush with tampico fiber. Natural materials are most effective in lymphatic drainage, and the ergonomic handle with a strap makes it easier to perform proper massage movements.

When is the best time for dry brushing - morning or evening?

Dry brushing is best performed in the morning if you want stimulation, or in the evening to relax the body. The choice of time for dry body brushing depends on your preferences, however morning massage additionally stimulates circulation and adds energy for the whole day.
